Flu Shots Cancelled!

Unfortunately we’ve had to cancel the flu shot clinic that was going to be held Saturday, November 7th.

The reason for the cancellation is a delay in the shipment of the vaccine. Suppliers are having trouble getting out the regular flu shot vaccines as well as the H1N1 vaccines out at the same time.

We are hoping to reschedule for sometime later in November.

We’ve finalized the schedule for our 2010 events–can you believe 2010 is upon us?–and we will have our city officials on hand to answer any questions you may have and address your concerns.

Hello neighbors!

If you go to the Bulletin page, you’ll see that we have uploaded the Bulletin from the meeting this past Satuday.

What is the Bulletin, you ask? It’s a summary of everything we discussed at the meeting, and it’s filled to the brim with useful advice and interesting neighborhood and city news.

Remember when we brought up an issue at the meeting and then said, “We’ll find the information and get back to you on that!” Well, that’s what the Bulletin is all about!

Mayor Phil Gordon spoke at our last meeting, so be sure to read his insights on public safety and the economy.

Blood Drive July 10

McMurry will be hosting a blood drive from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, July 10. The Bloodmobile will be parked on 10th Street just north of Missouri Avenue.
